I haven't seen this smile in so long...

Brody has had a high fever for three days. He is lethargic and shaky and it scares me. My boys have been sick for so long and I feel guilty. I feel guilty having them in daycare and I feel guilty that I don't know how to make them better.

Noah has liquid in his ears and can't hear very well. We speak slowly and make sure his is looking at us. Tonight he took my face in his hands and turned his "good ear" to my mouth. "Huh. What mommy?" We were laughing about it, but right now I don't think it is very funny. More guilt.
Noah learned to write his name a few months ago, and is so proud. I love this kid's facial expressions. He can't hide anything-poor guy. I know what that feels like.
Noah and Brody got this fun little jeep for Christmas. Aaron and I both wanted one when we were kids. Our neighborhood is perfect for these things, and Noah things he is the coolest thing ever when he drives it.
Some days I wish I had a yellow tie so I could fit in with these three. If only it were that easy...Maybe if I could make cool gun noises, or great forts. Maybe if played monster trucks instead of cleaning the dishes.

Sick, Sick, Sick, and more Sick

So, I have taken my sons to the doctor's office 5 times in the last 6 weeks. From croup to ear infections, colds, and then some more croup...blah.

Eight Months of Catch Up!

Here is a sampling about what the Kinneys have been up to...

December

Brody didn't want me to take his picture. This is his pouting pose. Arms folded and big scowl.
Noah wakes up every day and wants to play in the snow. Every morning he says, "It snowed today!"
Merry Christmas!!

November

Aaron and I went to Seattle for the MLS Cup. It was fantastic. Seattle is a great city. We shopped, saw a really cool octopus, ate great food, and saw Real beat the Galaxy in the championship game.
It was amazing how many Real fans made the trip to Seattle. I was so proud.
Very flattering picture of us under the Space Needle.
Brody loved throwing snowballs at me.

The first attempt at a snowman this season. He is a little sad looking, and he didn't last more than two minutes before Brody kicked him down.
