Doesn't get much cuter than this

So I'm crazy...

We got a cat. I'm not sure why, but I started wanting one about a month ago. At first I just joked with Aaron about getting one because he isn't the biggest cat fan. Then I became obsessed with looking on KSL and finally found one I couldn't resist. We named him Hobbes and Noah loves him. He is a little rough with him though. He likes to pick him up and sometimes bonks him on the head with his toys. Hobbes is a good little kitten. He purrs a lot and he likes to sleep on our necks. Oh, and he loves Aaron. For not being big into animals, they all sure end up loving him. Hobbes has wormed his way into Aaron's heart already.

Aaron and Noah tried to have a campout in the backyard last night. Noah loved being in the tent. He is obsessed with tunnels and he thought this was the coolest "tunnel" ever.

Brody is enjoying eating more and more every day. As long as he has sweet potatoes, pears, or bananas to go along with his mush he loves life.

Noah loves to give his brother kisses, and Brody loves everything about Noah. He watches him constantly. Noah also loves to sit on Brody's lap.

We went to the park the other night with my family and Noah kept going through this tunnel. As with everything else, he had to kick the side of it. He has to kick everything; balls, toys, windows, Brody, and me. The other morning he was so frustrated with the seem on this pajamas. I took his shirt off and he got even more mad. He was at the top of the stairs and I was at the bottom and he threw his shirt at me. I told him what a good throw it was and he turned around and raced down the stairs on his belly. He was screaming the entire time and when he got to the bottom of the stairs he stood up and kicked me. Aaron thinks it is so funny that he kicks when most kids just hit.

We have enjoyed being outside this summer. Noah loves to swim in the pool and play on the neighbors trampoline. Even though life has been challenging the last few months, I feel so blessed to have such a beautiful family. I have two wonderful, happy boys, and a patient, amazing husband.

Two year olds

Noah tried on his Grandma's glasses the other day and he loved them. He wouldn't take them off for about a half and hour. He just walked around and around our coffee table looking at the ground. His Grandma thinks he looks like Ralphie from A Christmas Story.

My sweet little boy is definately a two year old. He gets so mad at random things. He throws his trains all over the house when they don't do what he wants them to. He screams at me when I don't kick the ball the way he wants me to. He still has such a sweet, loving personality though. The other morning, around 10:30, he looked at me and said, "Bed, nap, Noah." So I put him down for a nap.

...still tired

We had a few glorious nights of Brody sleeping 7 or 8 hours at a time. It was a breakthrough and so great to find out that he is actually capable of sleeping that long. I still woke up every two hours to check if he was still breathing. Last night, however, he was back to his old tricks of waking up every hour or so. Today I feel like days are being shaved off of my life. I wake up so angry and frustrated so me mornings, and then Brody smiles and coos at me and I think for a moment that I can survive this.

We tried to feed him rice cereal, but every time he tasted it he would cry. I mixed it with bananas the other day and he was all smiles. He definately knows what he likes and doesn't like already.
